Join LifeLab

LifeLab is only possible thanks to all the support we receive to run all the events and activities. The initiative is funded by a grant from the European Commission, as well as support from the Wellcome Genome Campus (Sanger Institute and the European Bioinformatics Institute), Babraham Institute, MRC-Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Cambridge University.

Organisations and staff provide time and equipment for free, however additional support will help us to keep events and activities free for the public. Find out how to get involved below and please contact if you would like to learn more about sponsorship opportunities.

If you're a researcher at any level

And are based in Cambridgeshire you can organise your own events, tell your story, share your research images, participate in training or support a variety of activities. All life science researchers across the region are welcome to contact us about taking part.

If you’re not a scientist or researcher

But would like to support LifeLab events and activities, please get in touch. We’d love to have you on board to help with anything from ushering to event coordination. There are plenty of ways for you to get involved and help out at LifeLab.

If you’re a research organisation

Whether commercial, academic, or charitable (and more) in the local area, we have lots of opportunities for you to share your research across the region too!

If you’re a public site, venue or school
